August is a localisation release. PSS now runs end to end in Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese, and Brazilian operators get the two things they asked for first: WhatsApp Business messaging and Boleto Bancário payments.
WhatsApp Business (WABA)
WhatsApp is how most Brazilian pool companies already talk to their clients. It is now a channel inside PSS rather than a second app on the technician’s phone.
- Official WhatsApp Business Account. Connect your verified WABA number in Settings → WhatsApp Business. Messages send from your business identity, not a personal number.
- Visit reports over WhatsApp. Where the office enables it, the visit report reaches the client on the channel they actually read.
- Announcements to a filtered client group. Schedule changes, holiday routes and price notices go out to the segment you choose.
- Template messages. Approved templates for the recurring notifications, so sends stay inside WhatsApp’s policy.
- Replies land in the client record. The conversation sits with the property, not in someone’s phone.
Boleto Bancário
Card-on-file is not how a large share of Brazilian clients pay. Boleto is now a first-class payment method alongside cards.
- Boleto issued with the invoice. Generated automatically when the invoice is released, with your due date and terms.
- Delivered by email and WhatsApp. The barcode and the linha digitável go out on the client’s preferred channel.
- Reconciliation on payment. The invoice moves to Paid when the boleto clears — no manual matching.
- Late fees and juros. Configured once under Invoices → Configure and applied to the boleto itself.
- Recurring boletos. Monthly service can issue a boleto each cycle without anyone touching it.
Setup is in Settings, next to your other payment methods. The billing chain is unchanged — see Invoicing & Payments.
Spanish and Portuguese, everywhere
- Web app and mobile app fully translated, switchable per user rather than per company — so a bilingual office and a Spanish-speaking crew can each work in their own language on the same account.
- Client-facing documents — invoices, visit reports and announcements follow the client’s language, not the technician’s.
- Currency, units and date format follow your account locale, set once in Settings → Preferences.
Fixes
- Accented characters in client and property names now sort correctly in every list.
- Long translated labels no longer clip on narrow mobile screens.
- Invoice totals respect locale decimal separators in exports.
- Announcement previews render right-to-left punctuation correctly in mixed-language sends.
What to do
- Brazilian accounts: connect your WABA number and enable Boleto before your next billing cycle.
- Everyone: check Settings → Preferences so locale, currency and units match the market you serve.
- Tell your crew they can switch the app language themselves.
